- GJ’s Salon -N- Spa was established in 1980 with only 4 styling chairs. The addition of two tanning beds came in 1987, followed by nail services in 1995. By the year 2000 Tom and Gloria Duenkel decided the businesses growth warranted for more space and the business moved to its current downtown location (1604 Washington Street). Today the salon features a new exterior/interior including; eight styling stations, four nail stations, a private spa pedicure room with 4 roller back massage chairs, a double massage room, full body red light therapy, facial treatment/waxing room, permanent cosmetics room, eight tanning beds, a spray tan room, a fitness room, and a their newest addition is GJ’s Coffee Bar.
