The food was great, the service was good. I like Carino's much better than Olive Garden, the Chicken Parmigiana is much meatier, tons of sauce, and good portion sizes. The Lasagna is excellent. I would very much recommend the sampler platter. The prices are a little higher than Olive Garden, but you get more and the taste is much better, so worth it overall. If you are a little budget conscious then go to Carino's on Monday or Tuesday night for family night and get Family size platters for the price of a single portion size. Now there is Great food at prices you can really LOVE!!

Have been to Carino's three times now and each time am disappointed in flavor. The food looks delicious and sounds great on the ads and in the menu, but I have literally eaten more flavorful mac and cheese out of boxes than in their $12 pastas

My family decided to go to Johnny Carino's for my parents' 35th wedding anniversary. Never in my life have I had such horrible service. We were choosing between Rock Creek Restaurant and Johnny Carino's and decided to give Carino's our service. My mother ordered coffee and didn't receive it until she was half way through with her meal. Two of the men ordered beers that sat on the bar for a long time and were warm once served. My brother ordered water that he never received. Our meals weren���t served in a timely manner. Our salads were not correctly dressed. Our drinks were only refilled once during our entire meal, while they were empty for over half of it. When my mother tried to get more coffee it took over ten minutes to get any server���s attention, let alone our server, and even then my brother had to get up from his meal to ask any server for coffee. When we expressed our disappointment with the service our waitress responded with a bitter insincere apology and went on to complain about us to the other servers while still within our earshot. We were one of three tables and all of the staff hung out near the bar instead of serving as they were being paid to do. The server also assured us that our ���bill would be taken care of��� however we were charged full price for everything, even our un-refilled cold coffee.In previous visits to Carino���s our leftovers were boxed for us but when we asked for boxes this time the boxes and bags were slapped down on the table with no offer from the server to box it. Our night was ruined and we will never eat there or recommend it to anyone ever again. Carino���s is the epitome of bad service.
