Knowledgeable owner (Jason) and installer (Brian). Great products at fair prices, clean installations. What more do you want?

They need to tell the true

I just wanted to take a second to WARN everyone about my bad experience that I have had with Stereo Pad and the owner Jason, which has had the business given to him from his parents. I went into the Stereo Pad, Jason quote me a price to install a custom stereo into my corvette, which he said he had already done many more like it before. He reviewed my quote that I had received from another local shop and he told me that he felt that they were over charging me for their services. He also wanted me to change some of the components that I was order too, so I did so on his advice. He gave me a quote and we set a date to do the work, but his price had increased by $100 due to research he had done, but I went ahead and ordered the materials that he wanted and set a date. I reason I bought the equipment elsewhere was due to me getting a much better deal on-line rather than at his store and pay sales taxes on top of it. Here is where the problem started, when I show up with the car and equipment on the scheduled date I drop it off as planned. After a few hours I got a call back from Jason telling me that the price and time table it would have to change from $875 and four days to $1600 and two weeks. This was all due to him only having only a 20 year old part time installer and he did not estimate the work had to be done correctly. From the very beginning he acted like he was the one going to do the work himself, since he said over and over that he had over 20 year experience and he had done many Vettes before. After going back to his shop and picking my car and equipment back up all he could say is “ I am sorry” and now I am the one that is stuck with the equipment that he wanted and cannot get what is right for the car like I had originally specified. He said that he could not help me cover the cost of the wrong equipment or even help with the shipping back to the vendor. In my opinion the owner of the Stereo Pad is a great talker/salesperson, but after my experience I would not let him touch my Walmart system. BEWARE BEWARE

Happy customer

Thank you so much for making my car sound so much better and giving me back my trunk. I can't say enough about how I was treated compared to the other place!

Horroble experience

I went here for a car alarm. Within 30 days it started going off & won't turn off. Now the car won't start, I have no working alarm. They said they would come over & disable it. They never showed up & they've been less than friendly the whole time. Well after 3 days of saying they would come over and help me I called another outfit that came over right away. They had to remove the defective alarm on the spot, for me to even drive the car. I took it to them & had a new 1 installed. Stereo pad says they will give me another 1, which I don't need now. I'm sure they will. If value your time & want a job done right the 1st time I wouldn't go here.
