Founded in 1966 in Tucson, AZ, and deemed the Official State Theatre by Governor Rose Mofford, ATC is celebrating its 55th season currently led by Kasser Family Artistic Director Matt August and Executive Director Geri Wright. ATC operates in two major Arizona cities unlike any other LORT professional theatre in the country. Each year more than 130,000 people experience world-class theatre at the historic Temple of Music and Art in Tucson and the elegant Herberger Center in downtown Phoenix.
