When I was a kid, my mom delivered phone books as an extra job, (a "side hustle" in millennial speak) and we helped, so these phone books bring back memories!
My mom has taught me that before you move to a new area, get a phone book to learn about the new area, and to start calling numbers to make your transition as smooth as possible (Youngsters, heed this advice)!
Society created a cliche of considering phone books the epitome of boringness, but I believe what Wayne Dyer suggested that a self-actualized person could find the fascination in anything, thus these Yellow Pages phone books do facinate me!
This year I have been using a past year's directory for Christmas wrapping paper, so realize these phone books rock in more ways than one.
