I am surprized at the comments i see about this place. I have been taking my kids to Dr. Ife from their first dental appointment... ( my daughter was 2 and my son 4 at the time of their 1st vizit) . I would like to mention that i have not had such problems so far with them. Yes..its true that my daughter cried on her first vizit... But what is there to expect from a young child who is unfamiliar with what is going on. I am not taking sides
.... But i will specifie one thing.... Not every dentist has the guts to do what Dr. Ife does for this children.... And that is greatly apreciated by the majority realistic thinking and unselfish people who want the best treatment for their kids. No one should ever compare a child to an adult patient... They do not have as much patients as adults and the fright is 10 times worst. I hope this message does not offend anyone.

* a very aggressive dentist that can find problems that others cannot
* uses very old fashioned techniques, I.e., silver fillings & crowns

I was excited to take my children to a new dentist in a new state, especially since it was my toddlers first time seeing one, but after today's appointment I will not be going back ever. The facility looked clean the receptions was nice. The children's waiting area didn't have much to entertain them for being a pediatric dentistry. We then were called in I do agree with the previous reviewer the doctor was aggressive with the children on cleaning and checking their teeth (my children all had zero cavities).What really drew the last straw was when the assistant forced an x-ray tool in my toddlers mouth to the point that he threw up. I was so bothered from it I told her to not try it anymore. The doctor immediately came in and assisted cleaning my son up and asked if I usually carried extra clothes with me also if he had a snack earlier. YES HE'S A TODDLER HE EATS AND WHO DOESN'T CARRY EXTRA CLOTHING FOR A TODDLER?? BUT I DID NOT EXPECT MY CHILD TO THROW UP AT THE DENTIST! I was so disturbed and traumatized from the experience I couldn't get out any faster they then tried bribing the children with toys after the unprofessional service. I do not recommend this dentist to any child. Definitely will be more careful selecting my children's future dentist.
