I made an appointment for my son to be seen by the Dr. Kazmierowski and because we did not have medical insurance I had to give them a $250 deposit before I could even make an appointment. I used my debit card over the phone after talking with the billing dept and finding out how much my visit would be and that the remainder of my deposit would be returned back to me. I was quoted $96. We arrived on time for the appt and as we were filling out paper work I could hear the receptionist talking about the other employees and how unhappy they were. My son was called back and spent about 5 min with the doctor. After he came out I asked the one receptionist Shelli how much the visit was and when I could expect to see the remainder of my deposit returned. She acted like I was a bothering her, never once smiled and said it would be a few minutes and I need to sit down and wait. So I did. It took about 10 minutes for her to get my cost and it was $169! I asked why she stated she did not know. I asked how soon the balance due to me would be back on my card and she said she didn't know and that I would need to call the billing dept. Never once offered to assist me. She did let me know that she was put out because I was asking questions. We left and in the car I called the billing dept. I was told that there was nothing they could do about the cost and I should write a letter to the doctor. Oh and it would take 2 weeks to get the remainder refunded back too me!! Oh and did I mention I was suppose to be getting a 15% discount for paying cash. We guess what I did not get it!!!!!!!!
