Being in sales, I’ve got to look the part. After all, image is perception and perception is reality, right? This means I have to get it right when it comes to my hair, my clothes and, most importantly…my jewelry. Historically, I’ve traveled into the cities I’ve lived (i.e. Chicago, New York, Detroit, etc.) to find my bracelets, rings and watches. Unfortunately, with these big city stores, come big city prices and big city attitudes.

Luckily, a few years ago, I was looking to fix a broken watch and went into MacKinnon Jewelers. From the moment I crossed the threshold into the store, I was greeted and treated like family. Tom (the owner) shook my hand and took a genuine interest in my needs. My watch was fixed promptly and at a cost low enough that I thought was a joke. It wasn’t.

I’ve been back several times to see Tom and his friendly and helpful staff…and every time, he remembers my name. Put simply, MacKinnon Jewelers has the huge selection you want, the customer service you deserve at prices you won’t believe. I have, and will continue to recommend MacKinnon Jewelers to anyone who will listen.

This Jeweler Rhodium Plated my vintage design wedding ring without explaining what they were going to do. They told my husband they would shine it up for him. Little did he know that meant that they would be coating the entire ring in rhodium plating over my beautiful ring. Ruining the vintage look to my ring. I'm so upset my ring is ruined and they can't take it off. This is a very expensive custom ring, I have had for 8 years and the color was perfect for the design. DON'T GO HERE.
