RIP Dr. Solomon. Our family veterinarian for over 30 years. Always great with the animals and quick with a corny joke! Hamilton NJ has lost a great vet.

Dr Solomon. We thank you for your love and care for our furry family members. We thank you for being a humble and caring friend. We are sadden by you leaving us here on earth but know that you are now in Heaven. You are truly missed. We loved you for loving our pets. Until we meet again. RIP my friend.

Wonderful doctor, prices are excellent. He's old school, but honest in his practice. I trust Dr. Solomon with all of my pets and recommend him highly.

I have never, EVER met a vet who REALLY cares about animals the way dr. Solomon does. He is compassionate and funny, and explores all venues for making your pet's care as easy on him and on you as possible . Indeed, the facilities are not fancy, but he also charges us LITERALLY 10 times less than VSEC in PA (so if you want state-of-the-art facilities be prepared to pay for them yourself). I would not dream ever taking my dogs anywhere else.

Dr. Solomon has cared for our dogs and cats for 30 years. He is a little quirky, but that makes the visit more enjoyable. He only cares about the animals, so no, the decor is not high fashion, but it all works. I dread the day he retires! YP has the hours wrong though. He is not open 24/7. Call to verify the hours.

Dr. Solomon has been our family vet for over 30 years now. He truly cares about his patients and will always give you an honest answer and advice. He is very old school and no frills so if you are looking for someone to cater to you with brand new technology and "politically correct" style then he is not the vet for you. Because of this he is able to keep his prices so low and affordable. His capability to practice is in no way shape or form compromised by his lack of technology. I have seen him bring many of our pets back to life when they have been nearly 3 paws in. He will always do right by your pet even if he may not care for you as an owner. The only reason I gave him 4 stars instead of 5 is because he has wacky hours and this is only because he is the only practicing vet at his hospital.

I must say that if you in the Trenton / Hamilton, NJ area and need a vet, Solomon Animal Hospital is awesome. Reasonable prices, friendly service, always a pleasure



BUT I MUST SAY STAY AWAY FROM THE GROOMER, SHE HIJACKED MY WALLET:

A WHOOPING $125 FOR GROOMING SMALL HAIRY DOG JUST BECAUSE HE BITES.

GROOMER WITH NO MUZZLE EXPERIENCE?

HUH, IS TEDDY THE ONLY DOG YOU GROOMED THAT WAS LEERY ABOUT YOU?

THAT WAS THE REASON TO GROOM AT HOSPITAL SO IF HE NEEDS SEDATION HE GETS IT!!!

Dr. Solomon is a wonderful vet with a heart of gold. To the person who called him crazy and said to retire, the problem most definitely lies with you. You most likely have an out of control dog and instead of taking responsibility and getting a trainer, you seem to think you can simply drug the dog. You should really take a look at yourself and realize maybe you shouldn't have the privilege of owning any dog. You also probably showed no respect and acted like a classless fool. Good luck to your poor dog who is obviously in need of a capable owner, which seems to NOT be you.

I love the way my small dog Emilio is taken care of by the Dr. Solomon. He is very good about explaining how to care for your pet. This is our families first pet and Dr. Solomon, has been excellent in assisting as well as the physical maintenance of our pet. We are truly grateful.

horrible ! my dog obviously had worms, took her to him monday he said shes tto young for meds, he sent poop to lab anyway it took a week for the results . friday comes and he gives her meds?? how much older could she have gotten in 5 days ? she couldve have been got rid of the worms and her belly aches !

Dr. Soloman is great. I've taken my dogs to him for a long time and never had a problem. I highly recommend him to anyone that have pets.

Doctor Solomon is a very caring veterinarian. He has several different blocks of time almost daily where you can bring your pet in and be seen without having an appointment. He's even there if you need him on a Sunday. Can't say that about most veterinarians! His fees are very reasonable, and his many years of experience can't be beat. My visits with various pets have always been very satisfying and cordial. He's the best!

I am 32 years old and have had quite a few animals in my lifetime .....Dr Solomon has always been my family vet since as long as i can remember ....I have a special wonderful dog, who i adopted when she was about 5 and that was 7 years ago but has had some health issues along the way ....Dr Solomon, has done procedures surgery's and minor checkups and every single one has come out great, I MEAN PERFECT ....The place is NOT dirty, maybe a little out dated ..but he has been there forever! and who cares, about the office??? ...It's the doctor that is important .....He never over charges ....but if i had a million dollars i would share half w/ him! because that is one man who deserves it! My Dog now seems to get strange problems, in her older age that i have never even heard of, and he instantly knows what is wrong ..He fixes it and THATS IT(well until something else happens to her)....he removed a growth off her ear, and when i told him i did not want it biopsied, due to financial issues, he told me it was inexpensive he encouraged me to ....So i took his advise, because!!!!!! dr knows best!!!! My only concern is ....WHAT WILL I DO WHEN HE RETIRES!?!?!!?

Dr. Solomon is a great vet. He is very busy. always get there early. very inexpensive.

if i could give zero stars i would. this man is a lunatic, he screamed at me and my dogs and kicked us out of the office, all for politely requesting an alternative sedative. CRAZY. retire already please.

Dr. Solomon is the most knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarian I have ever encountered. He loves his patients and they love him back. Also, his fees are very, very reasonable. Please check him out when you need a veterinarian for routine, special, or emergency services for your pet(s). You and your pet(s) will be glad you did. And then you too will write a glowing review about this special vet.
