Our Stay in July 2008

Starting off...we found this place online at hotels.com website. We should have just gone with our gut feelings and not what CERTAIN guests were saying.

It was PERFECT! Room was clean and stocked with fresh towels. Granite countertop kitchenette and bathroom sink, plenty of closet and drawer spaces. AMAZING views of not only the bay but of the Gulf too. Absolutely perfect! It's hard to say this to people and actually have them understand and take it to heart...but it was perfect. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Now back to my first statements. CERTAIN guests were saying that the room was ok, no fresh towels, light coming in underneath the door at night, etc. All I read was a bunch of whining babies. Probably older people with nothing else better to do then complain.

Our trip from Missouri down to FLorida was a great experience. We wanted to see the beach and relax. We could do just that at Treasure Island. There was plenty of stuff to do! Right next door to our hotel was jet ski/boat rental business, food within blocks of walking, extreme amounts of shopping, enough bars around to get you feeling happy...but most IMPORTANTLY was the beach right across the street! White sands, blue waters, plently of shells to pick up. It was absolutely beautiful. It was just what we needed!

We will definitely make a trip back down to Treasure Island and we will definitely stay at the Treasure Bay Hotel and Marina again...without a doubt!
