On September 14, 2023, at 7 a.m. ambulette #45 was observed on the Parkway operating recklessly, exhibiting erratic behavior such as weaving in and out of traffic and exceeding speed limits. It is pertinent to mention that the vehicle was not responding to an emergency call, as emergency lights were not activated during this time.

In light of these hazardous actions, I promptly contacted your organization in an attempt to report this incident and speak with a supervisor. Regrettably, the initial interaction with your operator concluded abruptly when the person who answered simply hung up on me.

Subsequently, I made a follow-up call after the conclusion of my workday, seeking to communicate my concerns and emphasize the importance of addressing this issue. I asked to speak to a supervisor, or for an email where I would send the dash cam footage. Unfortunately, during this call, I was met with a response that left much to be desired. The representative on the line expressed a disinterest in the matter, suggesting that I could post my concerns publicly at my discretion and discouraging any further communication ("post whatever you want, just stop calling"). This response leads me to believe that the individual I spoke to may hold a position of authority within your organization, as I had initially requested a supervisor to address this issue responsibly and ensure accountability for the reckless conduct of your driver.

It is disheartening to witness such a lack of concern for safety within an entity bearing the name "SAFEway," which specializes in the transportation of injured individuals. This incident raises significant questions regarding your commitment to the well-being and safety of both your clients and the general public.

I implore you to take immediate action to investigate this matter thoroughly, identify the driver involved, and implement appropriate measures to prevent the recurrence of such unsafe behavior. If there is an agency that oversees your licensure, I will be contacting them.

They were 1 hour late for pickup. We contracted for $400 for a round trip, but didn't return home, because my husband was admitted. I was not offered a discount or a refund for the trip not taken. They provided very disappointing service.
