What Star Girl said about Pacific Bartending School

Aside from racing, I also am a driving instructor for the BMW Performance Driving School and other Auto manufacturers, as well as a stunt driver.

About the Pacific Bartending School, Dan Mackey, the owner of the School came highly recommended , you guessed it, I took the 35 hour bartending course for only $ 395.00 and found myself with a certificate in hand .... I'm excited about expanding into different areas. Thanks Dan for everything - your class is awsome.

Bartending school review

Pacific Bartending School, i first heard of it online, while i was browsing other schools. The first thing i noticed on the website is how up front it is. It tells you exactly how much it's going to cost you, no hidden fees, no sneaky add ons.

(They even have a two person deal! $495 for two people, and that includes certifications and job placement). I signed up the very first day, because i loved the teaching methods. We didn't start off at a desk, writing and memorizing. The first thing we did, was learn how to make a drink, while standing behind the bar! Before i knew it, i had learned how to make about ten different basic drinks. We were taught how to correctly hold and pour a bottle, and little things like-remembering to hold a glass from the bottom, so you don't accidentally stick your fingers in it, if you were to hold it from the top. The instructor keeps class interesting, teaching easy ways to remember what goes in which drink. The mood is light and very friendly. I appreciate that Dan, the instructor, was an actual bartender! Unlike other schools, where they up the prices, and sometimes the teachers are old students that have never been behind a real bar. Dan comes from a family of bartenders, 4 generations to be exact; he has 20 years of professional experience! I highly recomend this school, the whole experience has been great.

Class Rating

Dan the instructor does a great job teaching from his personal experience as a fourth generation bartender. He does a great job teaching the fundamentals that have built up my confidence as a new bartender. Highly recommend Pacific Bartending School to anyone. Plenty of stations and a very welcoming environment. I have seen previous students come in to refresh their skills and the instructor treats them very well at no extra cost. Great experience for myself.
