The company s products and lamps gained a reputation for building high-quality miniature lamps exactly to customer specifications. NASA has used lamps produced by Carley for the Apollo space shot, voyager probe and most recently the space shuttle. To maintain its technical excellence in the miniature lamps industry and continue to develop the company, its product line was expanded to include high-intensity miniature lamps to the flashlight industry. It is claimed that Carley is the lamp of choice for professional police, firefighters and Special Forces. Carley s flashlights also offer weapons-mounted illumination and medical device systems. Carley Lamps has lamp-making facilities in Mexicali, Hong Kong and Torrance, Calif.
