Dr. Alison Herr Oliver, a proud Virginia Tech Hokie, opened Oliver Mobile Veterinary Service to provide optimal small animal and equine care to the Northern Shenandoah and Piedmont regions of Virginia. Since relocating to Toledo, Ohio as of July 2016, she will be now extending this service to the Northwest Ohio area. After working in brick and mortar practices since 2003, Dr. Oliver realized that combining modern technology and old-school service was how she wanted to practice. Technology allows portable state of the art care to be provided to small animals in the stress-free environment of their homes. No travel, no cages, no sitting in waiting rooms listening to the anxiety of the other animals; just convenient in-home veterinary service for all of the animals in your family. ​

Services include: SMALL ANIMAL Wellness exams Vaccinations or titer evaluations Laboratory testing (Including but not limited to fecal testing, heartworm testing, lyme and tickborne disease testing, pre-operative bloodwork, urine evaluation, senior bloodwork.) Skin and ear disease evaluation. Microchip Implantation Health Certificates for travel; small animal, equine, and international (USDA certified). Medical diagnosis and treatments. (Including fluid and medication administration.) In-home Euthanasia (Including final care arrangements.) Referrals (Established relationships with local clinics and specialty practices and after hours emergency facilities.) EQUINE Wellness exams Vaccinations and Coggins testing Medical diagnosis and treatment Laboratory testing (Fecal testing, blood testing/screening.) Lameness Evaluation (Digital radiograph availability coming soon!) Breeding (Pre-breeding examinations and artificial insemination with cooled semen.)
