I have recently used this business to get a head rebuilt.Had the head pressure tested and new valve seals put in. It took 2 weeks longer than they told me it would.Had to call every day to check on it always got the oh my mechanic that it doing that one is on lunch, on vacation yadda yadda the normal run around.Finally i picked up and my mechanic installed into my car new seals new head bolts.Car was knocking terribly loud i was assured by Paul after about 20 mins of running it should go away the lifters need to pump themselves back up with oil.after 45 mins still knocking.so assuming somethings not right i called Paul.getting the runaround again i took car back to him.Next excuse its the lifters and those arent guarenteed sometimes they dont pump back up.head was off you were suppose to check everything ."only if a customer requests it" i get from paul.finally another tech looks engine up and it has no lifter and paul had no idea what the heck he was talking about.they forgot to tighten something and after it was installed it came loose hence the knocking noise. Anyways paul did offer to fix it BUTTT i would have to pay shop across the street for the labor to pull apart and reinstall head after they fixed it .of course i did but that means i paid 2 x the labor i should have just warning people about this.several other people i have talked to have also had BAD experiences and will never use the business again
