started out good but then Alterations were so expensive They ordered the wrong veil than add additional cup pads in her dress, nothing was said to us about any additional amount whatsoever. As I was paying Jamie was sitting up at the front desk with someone trying to figure out how they could save money on alterations for her, I said nobody did that for me, she replied, well her’s are a lot of money, I replied so were mine. not happy let me tell you, and then they ad to nerve to call my daughter and tell her that there is additional charge for the bra cups and that they gave me 10.00 change to much, that really upset me, why are they bothering the bride, they should have called me, and plus we should have been told of any extra charges, Jamie actually called me because when I picked up the dress I complained to a lady at the front desk. Her message to me was nothing of kindness, she just said I was not rude to you. So no call back from her on follow up or anything BRIDES be aware

I absolutely love the way Jamie (owner of Bella Sposa TInley Park) customized my daughter's wedding dress and went above and beyond to make it exactly what she wanted!

With that being said....Ladies, WATCH OUT!! The dress, which we did NOT ask Jamie to go down on even $1. ended up costing a small FORTUNE once the alterations and this cost and that cost, etc., were added in! You will SERIOUSLY be paying MORE for the alterations and any nip or tuck than you will for your dress!!

If you happen to find your dress at Bella Sposa do yourself a favor and have the alterations done elsewhere!!

Where, you ask? There's a wonderful lady who does alterations better than Bella Sposa's seamstress and you can find her on 79th Street just off of Ridgeland Avenue at a small shop called "Angie's Quick Stitch". This lady is a gift from God when it comes to making dresses, customizing dresses and can do any and all types of alterations at 1/3 of the cost (if not less) than Bella Sposa!!

I wished I would have found this little 'gold mine' of a shop and Angie (the owner) when my daughter bought her wedding gown from Bella Sposa. The alterations were over a THOUSAND DOLLARS!! Angie's price was 300. It made me SICK to pay that money out to Bella Sposa when my daughter's dress was $1,500. SICK, SICK, SICK. And when I told the owner (Jamie) that this cost was far to hard for my daughter and I she told me "My hands are tied." The hell they were!! You're the owner woman!!

Bottom line...My daughter's dress looked lovely but cost her an arm and a leg because of the HIGH ALTERATION costs and extra little here and there fees. TRY ANGIE'S QUICK STITCH for ALL your sewing needs!! She's a Godsend!!
