Yes, Our local Police Department responds quickly to reports of abandoned vehicles left on the roadway. I ran into an abandoned piece of heavy equipment left at night in a posted no parking zone. This vehicle had no lights, no reflectors or license plates. The tires are huge and much wider than a typical vehicle and impedes normal traffic trying to pass through. Our location is semi remote being on the edge of town and there are no street lights to speak of that might illuminate the road better. I called parking enforcement just now and was happy to be heard. Tow that damn thing away! Maybe the company will be smarter and not leave their equipment abandoned and in harms way next time!
