Walk-in friendly and open 7 days a week with extended hours (holiday hours may vary). We accept most insurances, including Tricare, Medicaid and Medicare. We offer convenient, affordable access to school and sports physicals. X-ray and lab services on-site. Walk-in with no appointment required to be seen by a highly trained, health care professional. Here is the specific circumstance that prompted this one-star review: Upon arrival, my wife was explicitly told by the front-desk staff that they accept our insurance--whereby they took her insurance card and verified on their computer--only to receive a bill for $2,300 one month later; our insurance provider confirmed that our coverage does not include this facility.

(Speaking of which, $1,400 of our bill was a "facility fee" for my wife merely sitting on an exam table for all of fifteen minutes. The nature of her non-emergency treatment did not warrant this exorbitant charge.)

This egregious clerical error on their part resulted in a tremendous cost at our expense. Had my wife been correctly informed--about the insurance as well as the "facility fee"--she would have opted not to be treated here.

In summary, incompetence + lack of transparency = financially-distressed and justifiably-irate patient/consumer.

I strongly encourage people to Google "freestanding ER complaints" to see for themselves that our experience is not an isolated incident.
