Established in 1993, Honey Creek Middle School offers academic classes to more than 800 students in grades six through eight. The school is affiliated with Vigo County School Corporation and is located in Terre Haute, Ind. It teaches a variety of subjects, such as computer technology, creative writing, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, English and physical education. The school organizes various extracurricular activities, such as Tennis Rain Day, Veterans Program, IBA Festival, Cookie Day and parent conferences. It has a parent-teacher organization that provides financial support through fundraising for special field trips, student assembly programs, classroom materials and a vocal music program. Honey Creek Middle School s library media center offers a collection of magazines, journals, newspapers and online research links for additional resources.
