I really hate writing this review, but they have left me no choice. I have purchased many pieces from Moore's over the past 10 years and up until this year, we have had good luck with them. However, this summer, we went to purchase my son a bed. As usual, we had to order the bed, and was told at that time that the bed would be in approximately 1-2 weeks from the order date.

After 2 weeks I hadn't heard from anyone at Moore's so decided to call. I was told they didn't know when it would be available and would call me back the next day. I never heard back so called the following day. They said that the bed was not in, so I asked them to deliver just the mattress. I was told they didn't deliver on such small items and that I hadn't ordered a mattress. I was shocked. When I pushed the fact that I disagreed with this, one of the workers, "J" simply hung up on me stating that "the money wasn't worth this."

Well, I called back and said that they had a deposit from me and hanging up wasn't an option. After a 10 minute rant about "people like me" she agreed to call the manufacturer and find out where the bed was. I didn't hear back from them for 2 months! "J" called again and asked why I hadn't returned her voicemails and that my bed had been in for months. I told her that we wrote off our deposit and purchased a similar bed successfully from a competitor. Once more, I endured a 5 minute rant about "us people." I finally thanked "J" and hung up.

I wasn't going to write a review until just a minute ago when "J" called me yet again (now it has been 5 months since I ordered the bed originally) and asked why I didn't return her calls (of which I have received none) and when I was going to come get my bed. I simply said that we had recolated out of state, and that my answers from 3 months ago stands. Unfortunately I heard her begin speaking badly about me as I politely thanked her and hung up.

IMHO, If you purchase here, get what is in stock.

My husband and I were about to be married and needed furniture. Various family members, including my parents had used Moore's, so we decided to check them out. Not only did they have a ton of furniture to choose from, we were able to find a gorgeous sofa and loveseat for a fantastic price! I have seen these other pieces at other retailers and the sofa always costs more than we paid for both of the pieces! We also got a great bedroom suit for a great deal! We love this store and can't imagine shopping anywhere else for furniture!

My wife and I where planning on buying a new bedroom suite and decided to make the drive to Moore's based on a rave review from a family member. They have near limitless companies and styles to choose from and were extremely kind and helpful through the entire process. They weren't the least bit pushy and didn't mind at all when we decided to defer the decision a few weeks.



In the end, we got the bedroom suite as well a 5 new pieces for the living room for price we had been quoted for just the bedroom suite elsewhere. They kept us well informed from ordering to deliver and were very helpful in arranging / setting up the pieces at the house. We've been thrilled with everything we ordered and will soon be going back to order more stuff through them!



I simply cannot say enough good things about them!

I bought some Bob Mackie Furniture from this company and when I received the furniture it was a scratched on the table the sales representative informed me that once you place your order with this furniture store ITS YOURS! she went in the back and got a marker and tried tyo hide the scrathes. I don't know about you but i pay thousands of dollars for furniture I don't want scratches. And if there is a problem I want to know that the retailer will take care of it.
