Patricia Cole teaches violin and viola in a wide variety of genres to students of all ages from beginners to advanced players. Patricia Cole is a professional violinist/violist who has performed alongside famous artists including Kanye West, Andrea Bocelli, and pianist Lang Lang. She has toured with Michael Buble, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and the Bill T. Jones dance company. As an orchestral musician she has played with several symphony orchestras, including both the Phoenix and Tucson Symphonies. She has attended music festivals including the Round Top Festival, Interlochen Arts Camp, Rocky Mountain Summer Conservatory, Stanford Summer Seminar, and the Wintergreen Festival. In 2010 she toured China with the Manhattan Symphonie, performing in celebration of 30 years of U.S.-China relations. In 2007 she was a guest artist for the Mustard Seed Communities Fundraiser in New York City, an organization that assists underprivileged children in Jamaica, Zimbabwe, and Nicaragua. Patricia Cole is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Violin Performance at Arizona State University and received her Masters of Music degree from SUNY Purchase College. Her primary mentors include Dr. Jonathan Swartz, Laurie Smukler, and Dr. Louise Scott.
