Very unprofessional place. I lived in one of their properties for 4 yrs and they sent me a MASSIVE bill for "cleaning services". I cleaned the place excellently. Took pics myself, at move out, to prove the condition of the apt. Tried to deal with corporate office....they repeatedly ignored my emails, etc. Had to get BBB (better business Bureau) involved to resolve. The apts themselves are nice. However, between the consistent staff turnover and the horrible business practices I would caution anyone to rent from them!

When you hear a favorable review about Hayloft Properties please consider it is either a current employee posing as a tenant or it's that one rare tenant that hasn't had an issue YET or hasn't move out YET when their lease is up. The month of any apartment can seem decent but give it time and Hayloft will deceitfully procure your money in many ways. Being charged the price of a brand new screen door when a tear in the screen occurs?...The door is fine..replace the screen and that is fair. Why should I pay for an entire door? Unprofessional practices are numerous when Hayloft is involved.

I've lived at Lexington Estates in Sioux Falls for over a year now and I am so pleased with the level of professionalism of the management and maintenance staff. If something isn't working properly, maintenance is prompt and courteous. I love the indoor and outdoor pools! I can see myself living here for quite some time.

I have lived here for over 5 years, and I've finally had enough of their rudeness! Ppl at the office are uncaring and rude!

Just today the Regional Manager Brent Brooks (does he own the building?)

If so- then who do we come to, when the OWNER yells at your 15 year old daughter, for entering the apartment through the patio door?!

And when I joined in on the conversation He yelled at me, at the top of his lungs! And threatened me, by saying ; " You won't make it here till ur lease ends!"

Now, how am I suppose to react to this? I have lived here for the past 5 years, and wasn't late w my monthly payments! I have been polite to my neighbors; to the office staff- even when they werent! They raise rent fees every time they can, and the Regional Manager has threatened me with slapping Fee ! For using the patio door.

NEVER live at Carrington Court Apartments in Burnsville MN. The property is managed by Hayloft Property Management and they are the most uncaring, abusive management team I have ever seen in my life. They don t care if your carpet or appliances don t work and do will do whatever they can to avoid replacing them. The indoor pool and hot tub (that we pay for in our rent!) has been out of commission for 2 months and the reason it s not getting fixed is because they think it s too expensive to hire a contractor and their maintenance team keeps quitting so the maintenance people can t get anything done. They bully their employees and their tenants and charge WAY too much for a shoddy old apartment they won t keep up or fix to be better. They ran one of their best managers out after she had been there for years because their new CEO Keith cornered her in a tiny back office and screamed at her so that she felt threatened enough to call the police. The last regional manager Jon was a bully and threatened people who questioned the way they charged late fees. They double charge the late fees and don t even follow their own lease with how they charge the late fees. I promise you if you rent here you will regret it. The people who move out are harassed until they move out and then are harassed again with trying to get their deposits back. I video taped my move out as well as all the cleaning I did and they still tried to charge me for cleaning! If you live at Carrington Court apartments or are thinking of moving there or working for them - DON T! They are terrible and the owner Rob doesn t even know what is going on. Contact Homeline (612-728-5767) or the Better Business Bureau right away to know your rights or make a complaint! These people are terrible and the people in the office and maintenance are constantly quitting because of Lisa, Brent, Jon (gone now), and Keith. Don t let them bully you, they keep losing in court because they don t have any idea how to run their accounting or run an apartment building!

I would like to first start out by saying that the management has gotten 10,000 times better then what it was before... the office people actually seem like they really care. If there is something that needs to be corrected they make sure that they completed it as fast as possible and correctly. I just moved here to East Hampton a couple months ago and I could not be happier. I feel like I got a real home not just an apartment. They work really hard to make sure that the place looks nice and clean which is what I really look for. They take great pride in this property and for the people that live there. I heard a few people talk about how the Hayloft management corp people are not nice but I went and seen it for myself and East Hampton office staff and the new property manager is great. You read so much negative on this place on some of the other internet sites but if you really think about it;do you really want other people making up your mind for you??? Im not trying to be another one that influence your decision I am just wanting to put my side out there. East hampton is a great, friendly, clean and a great place to call home. If you are looking for an apartment you should call and make an appointment with the office to come out and visit and see for yourself. You will not be sorry. Thanks for listening to my side.
