I have to admit i don't write reviews at all this is my first time writing a review. I have never rented a storage unit before so maybe i shouldn't be writing a review because i have nothing to compare it to. But i will say this my husband and i have had a storage unit with americanustore for about 3 years. My husband and I divorced I did not realize that my husband moved his things out and of course stopped paying the rent by the time I found out we where two months behind. I contacted americanustore they were so friendly they understood my situation they worked with me every way possible I have never meet the owners before this and now i would consider them as friends. We relocated to Sioux Falls 2 years ago & asked local friends to refer a storage unit company - they only had one recommendation: American-U-Store. We had the unit of our choice reserved for early evening arrival. Having never seen the storage unit it was just one more leap-of-faith. We didn't arrive early evening as we thought we would - as luck would have it, we had several hours roadside waiting for the tow truck & then repairs. Arriving extremely late, the owners themselves met us at the secure gate. Plenty of light to unload our belongings into a very clean and secure unit. We have since bought our home - all our things are in perfect condition. I wouldn't recommend any other storage facility. They really do offer everything you could want.

I moved from Montana and I rented a storage unit in Sioux Falls, I got into Sioux Falls on a Sunday afternoon it was a dive not even close to what they described to me. I couldn't get ahold of the owners, since it was the weekend. I looked in the phone book, American U Store about the only place that answered on a Sunday afternoon. They didn't even hesitate to meet with me. Very nice, well kept and very secure place.

Friendly Service, willing to meet me right away. Clean and Secure facility. The lot looks like they take pride in it, one of the best that I have seen. I have been renting from them since April of 2007 and I have had no problems. In fact I needed a larger unit than the one I was renting and they let me know right away when a larger one was available. I would recommend them to anyone!!!!
