We purchased our new home this past May, this inventory home was about 90% complete when we became involved and put a contract on the house. We couldn't be happier or more pleased with the process. Coming in so late in the building process, we were unable to choose many of the colors or fixtures. However, Mark, the super for the construction of our house designed and finished this home beautifully. We wouldn't have changed anything. The process went smoothly from the contract signing to closing day. The warranties were a nice unexpected surprise and the process for warranty calls is simple and efficient. We just had our 30 day walk thru with Shawn, who was very nice, helpful, and informative. We would highly recommend SK Builders, for their quality craftsmanship, excellent communication, and the sense of comfort knowing we have not only a beautiful new home, but a safe, sound home that will always make us smile as we pull in the driveway.

We bought a new house in a subdivision in Seneca. They completed the punch list on time and we closed on time with no problems. The wood floors, curved corners, and arched doorways were just a few small things that set the house apart from others. The 1 year inspection and warranty have just passed with no problems. They were good to work with and I would recommend them when considering either buying a house they have already built or having your own custom built home.

I bought my first home in 2015. My experience with SK Builders was nothing but the truth! I am so in love with my home and can't wait to buy my next home from SKYPE. Kudos to Shawn he was very informative and customer friendly.

My husband and I had our home built by SK Builders in Woodruff, SC on our property. Process was started with our agent Vanessa from McAlister Realty and ended after several months with great results. The agent was great from beginning to end and was easily accessible. Any small problems we had with construction were handled promptly and to our satisfaction. We would definitely use SK builders and McAlister Realty again.

SK BUILDERS, LIVING IN THE HOUSE JUST UNDER A YEAR. SO FAR NOT REALLY ANY COMPLAINTS. WHEN WE DID NEED QUESTIONS ANSWERED SOMEONE WAS ALWAYS ON THE OTHER END WITH THE ANSWERS.

They've been great and easy to get a hold of. We had a couple issues when we first moved in but overall in a new build, it was a good experience. The attention to detail in designing our floor plan is amazing: from the coffered ceilings in the keeping room to the judge paneling in the dining room, this is the perfect craftsman style home.

We built with SK Builders within the last year and have currently moved into our home. We are extremely pleased with the beauty and structurally sound home that SK provides. We had many options for colors; although many of the current trends were considered upgrades in cost.
The supervisors have (at most times) been prompt in their responses and professional.
Overall, the quality of our home has met our expectations and the service we have been provided has been satisfactory.

We contacted SK Builders regarding their "build on your lot" offer. They purchased the land and built our house allowing us to bundle everything into one loan. This allowed us to save a lot of upfront money from not having to have separate closings for the land and home. McAlister Realty was amazing to partner with during this process and SK Builders built a very quality home. I have been in construction for 20+ years and would recommend their services to anyone.

I picked out a floor plan in a neighborhood SK is building in and moved in last fall. I love my new home! The whole process was very smooth from start to finish- different than the horror stories I've heard about new construction. I have had only a couple very small things to address in my walkthroughs (yard drainage issues due to neighborhood construction, cosmetic issues) at closing and since moving in, but each time SK has been quick to address the issue. Their new home warranty is great and the people I have worked with have made me feel like they really care about me enjoying my home. Their staff is great, I appreciate their customer-first mentality. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a home builder.

We started the home building process with SK Builders in mid 2013, closing in Jan. 2014. We just had our 1 year walk-through and commented how happy we are with our home. We liked the craftsman style design & soon found SK neighborhoods. Then we found out a couple co-workers had SK homes, were happy with them & they encouraged us to go with SK too. So instead of buying an existing home, we decided to build. I can't say the entire experience was without bumps, but we had some wonderful people to help us through the process. We were unable to find a floor plan that met all our needs. SK allowed us to make modifications to one of their floor plans and I can say today that we have exactly the home we wanted instead of having to "settle" for anything less.

They bought lots in our neighborhood after our developer went under during the crisis a few years ago. We have watched them change our restrictions and make promises they did not keep. The homes are poorly constructed, the workers are foul-mouthed, the jobs sites are disgusting, and trying to get someone on the phone from their company is like trying to move mountains. Their "house in a box" wood piles sit on lots in the elements for months - rain, snow, whatever - and then they use this wood to build a house. They cut corners, and I've seen myself concrete slabs that already have cracks in them. Our once nice neighborhood with houses valued at 230s- 300s now sees homes for 175K, and I'm not even sure they are worth that in the long run. I feel sorry for those folks who buy these homes, but I also think they should have done more research on this builder and also should have believed that a deal this good - the ones SK make to their clients - is just not true. Last week, they cut our phone line bc of a lack of checking. When we called to alert them to this, they were unapologetic and the "site manager" seemed to be used to complaint phone calls and was honest that there wasn't much he could do about the lack of professionalism by his workers. Please read these reviews and know that a little more money spent is really going to get you a much better house in the long run. If you see a track builder like this coming to your neighborhood, get out while you can.

What a great decision to build with SK! They made the whole process- from picking a plan, to choosing design options, to closing all an enjoyable experience. Jaime, in the office, was helpful and patient with all our questions. Jack, the site manager, was meticulous and paid attention to detail. Shawn, the warranty manager, was quick to respond and fix all issues (all minor!). We felt appreciated as clients and not just another house being built. We've now been in our home 3 months and could not be happier! I would highly recommend SK to anyone in the market to buy or build a new home!

I purchased a brand new home from SK Builders about 2 months ago. I was extremely pleased with the level of service and the quality of the home. My site manager was excellent in reassuring me about any concerns I had with the development of my home. I felt like he took my home building process personal and addressed any issues immediately. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

We just wrapped up custom home build with S&K in the Blue Ridge area and we have thoroughly enjoyed the process. From start to finish the staff were knowledgeable, helpful, and prompt. Starting with the selection of our floor plan and lot to the final walk though each question and concern was addressed beyond our satisfaction.



If you are looking for a builder in the upstate do yourself a favor and visit one of their many neighborhoods in the area. We explored other builders when we started the process and there was no one else that we felt could meet their level of quality and craftsmanship at our price range.



We are very happy with our decision to build with S&K and would recommend them to those looking in this area.

I looked at several different builders before I decided to to go with SK and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

There were some that offered more square footage per dollar but the quality was horrible. I feel my wife and I couldn't have done better without going to a full custom builder and paying 35-40 more per sq foot .

I am " one of those" people who will nit pick every detail and the few minor issues I had were resolved before I moved in. To anyone reading the reviews I highly doubt you will get a better home for your dollar.

We are very satisfied with our purchase of an SK Builders Home. The whole buying process was easy and stress-free. We looked at many different subdivisions and builders when house hunting and SK offered the best quality and selection. Would recommend SK Builders to family and friends!

My husband I just moved into our brand new home with SK Builders! I have to say from start to finish our realtor Vanessa was there ready to answer any questions we had. We were able to customize one of the plans to fit what suits us best, and did not have to stay exactly with the plans they had. We built on our own lot and we had an issue with a neighbor not allowing us to tap into his water, SK worked with us to allow us time to work around the "neighbor" issue and never stopped working on our home. We were able to fix the "neighbor" problem pretty quickly but how wonderful that SK was so understanding and worked with us during a very stressful time. We love our new home and are very proud of the work that was done, we truly had the best builder, realtor and Superintendent!!! I have already recommended this builder to my niece and her husband!

My husband and I built our last home for retirement 18 months ago with SK and could not be happier. Our super was on top of the job and SK allowed us to make interior changes to the floorplan, which is unheard of! We love our home and have never had any problems with it.
