Or so it seems. As close as no matter, anyway! Taos, as small as it is, has a bewildering variety of neighborhoods and choices of kinds of property -- from the multi-million dollar "gentleman" ranches to condos that walking distance to the center of town, and also only an easy drive to the Ski Area. Then there are the outlying villages and areas. I learned quickly after a couple of days of driving around on my own that I had missed great chunks of Taos, and that the Lota team is open and easy-going, but competent and very efficient at helping me figure out what we wanted and how we could afford it.
