The D.W. Waters Career Center offers a range of programs in the areas of agribusiness, natural resources, business technology education, marketing, health science and public service education. Its academic curriculum includes classes in a variety of fields, such as landscape operations, administrative assistant, career technology, culinary arts, cosmetology, and digital and fashion design. The D.W. Waters Career Center s administrative assistant course features the use of technology to develop communication, higher level thinking and decision making skills. Its health science education course prepares students for the job of nursing assistants. The center is located in Tampa, Fla. The D.W. Waters Career Center is operated by Hillsborough County Public Schools, which also maintains several other career centers and schools.
