I appreciated having a real service technician on board
and not some goofy doom & gloom repairman AKA
salesman trying to make me buy a whole new unit. I almost
found out the hard way that those companies that advertise
on TV with those wonderful stories aren't always in your best
interest. I greatly appreciated the service and honesty that I

I typically don't write reviews because I'm not a great writer, but in this case it was easy. I called Comfort Central as a second opinion for my A/C repair since I was hoping to get my repairs done a little closer to what my budget could sustain. I don't have thousands of $$$ to just pay like that even though I do need my A/C working. At first, I was bothered that the repairman was in his truck and on the phone for about 15 minutes. When he did knock back on my door, he mentioned that he was able to update my equipment warranty to reflect my move-in date and got the parts covered under factory warranty thus saving me nearly $2,000. The previous company never even attempted to check into this. This company went above and beyond and for that reason, I felt it was my duty to offer this public "THANK YOU"

As a detective, I can tell a phony. This guy knew his stuff. My issue ended up being that my brother in law installed my new thermostat but it was never set up correctly. It took the repairman all of about 3 minutes to correct it but he also took the time to review my entire a/c while he was here. The guy was very honest and thorough. Highly recommended.

The repairman knew his job well. Even though my problem was just that battery looking thing, he still took the time to review my A/C top to bottom to make sure that there was nothing else that would likely cause my a/c to fail again anytime soon. I'm not sure if I can thank Comfort Central enough for all the effort that they applied in getting my family up and running today. The repairman was calling distributors for probably an hour until he found one that had the part that we needed. He then drove to the next county to get it and returned to complete the job in one day. If I could give 7 starts to this company, I would. These guys are the very best.

Comfort Central's sticker was on our A/C which was installed by the previous homeowner so we called them. When they showed up, the agent mentioned that the equipment was STILL under factory warranty which saved us a bunch. We had no idea that it was still under parts warranty. The agent was honest and thorough. I highly recommend this company.

As a single woman, I appreciated when the Comfort Central service agent articulate in layman's terms what is the problem so I can feel comfortable approving the repairs. I had a previous company out a couple years back doing a repair and he explained the issue to me with jargon that only another service agent would have understood. This service agent was very polite and professional. I felt very comfortable allowing them to do what was needed.

If you're looking for a cheap a/c company to use, then this is not it. But if you're looking for a professional A/C company at a fair price, then these are the ones. Since I cannot climb into the attic, Francisco took photos of all the issues going on in my inside unit and showed it to me before he performed any repairs. It was clear that my inside motor was shot by the looks of his photos and especially when he pulled it out from the attic. YOU COULD SMELL IT. He never tried to sell me a new unit in spite of mine being 13 years old. He was very honest and didn't fabricate any scare tactics like my previous company did. Although I hope that I don't have any other issues anytime soon, I would absolutely call these guys back. They've earned my trust.

I am a disabled Veteran. During my ordeal with this company, my wife was having major surgery. They knew of this, and promised to accommodate me between being home and going to the hospital.
After more than a week, calls were not returned nor appointments kept. I have heard of better service from a Buy Here, Pay Here used car lot OR perhaps this maybe one of their side businesses.
Dan was the leader of the pack, your typical BS salesperson. The owner, was either too busy, too important, or didn't care, to call me. PRETTY SAD!!!

The good new is that they did not perform any service. I could only imagine how they would have screwed that up.

Go on to another company. Customer service is NOT in Comfort Central vocabulary. NO ONE CARES. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Just so you know, I am one of the chief engineers in a major high-rise building here in Clearwater. I only used this company since I had a home warranty and it was more economical for me to have them change out my compressor. Note that the repairman never knew my credentials when he arrived. I can report that the repairman performed his diagnosis perhaps in ways that even I didn't do when confirming that it was strictly a compressor issue. Unfortunately, since they had to wait for the parts from the warranty company, they still had me up and running within a couple of days. The repairman didn't try to sing and dance and tell me how I needed a whole new unit or any of that common non-sense. I absolutely know that this company is top notch.

This is a quick thank you for solving my long term A/C issue without cleaning out my pocketbook. I've had several companies out here to fix my A/C problem and each and every one just wanted to sell me a new unit. I saw a Comfort Central truck at my neighbors house and ask that they look at my A/C. I didn't think that I would be charged a diagnostic fee since he was so close but fair is fair. At the end, he found the clog in my freon line and took care of it. After that, my A/C now works like it did when I first purchased it. It hasn't this well in over a year from when I had the initial repairman over from the first company. It's now nearly 3 weeks since they fixed it and it is STILL working fine. They treated me like family.

Comfort Central was very professional from start to finish. Since I was not home, the technician requested that my wife photo the damaged pieces so I can better understand what was needed and where the failure was. They were very courteous for sure. Terrible! Have to deal with this "company" because of the warranty on my pool heater. I've tried to get them to fix it for two months. They did come out to assess it and said they had to order a part. Three weeks later no word from them but they said the part was scheduled to arrive the next day. Finally came out to "fix" it and the guy said they ordered the wrong part. That was 4 weeks ago. I have called almost every day for 2 weeks and can never get anyone to answer or return calls when I leave messages. My warranty company cannot get a hold of anyone there either and they are contracted with this company. Since no one takes the time to call back I am going to drive 30 miles in Tampa traffic to show up at their office tomorrow.

My home warranty company called them out as a 3rd opinion since the first 2 opinions were absolutely conflicting. To top if off, my warranty company was only going to cover a fraction of the costs and the other companies knew that. When Mario showed up, he identified that it was my electric heater control dohicky was faulty and causing the heater to run the same time as my compressor was trying to cool the house. So in other words, it wasn't my compressor being bad nor my ductwork being clogged. My warranty covered the total repair and I saved several thousand dollars that would've been out of my pocket for something I didn't need. I appreciate their professionalism and integrity. Highly highly recommend them.

Like many people, I am one of those people who are quick to be angry and let the world know. It's just fair to let people know when things go well also. My warranty company. (******home warranty) was trying to deny my claim as the home warranty companies do. You would have thought that the Comfort Central technician was my family attorney as he reviewed every detail with the authorization agent until they finally overturned their initial denial and approved the claim. This saved me over $1,800. I would've had to just go without A/C or heat for at least 3 to 4 months to have saved up that kinda money. Comfort Central is a company that cares about its clients.

My pool maintenance company referred me to Comfort Central for our pool heater repair because he wasn't EPA certified to work on it. Comfort Central came out the following day and found our compressor was shot. When the repair guy showed me the price for the repair, I nearly fainted. He laughed at my reaction and then told me not to worry because I still had 2 weeks of warranty left on my heater AND that Comfort Central is an authorized repair center for my unit so the repairs will cost me "ZERO". Not even the trip fee for today. I appreciated Terry's expertise and humor. I will recommend them to anyone. Great service and awesome people.
