Two mornings ago (8/10/2015), I noticed my tires were kind of low. So, I decided to take my vehicle to Goodyear on Kennedy Blvd. to have the pressure checked. Since I have Goodyear tires and this is a free service, I figured this would not be a problem.



As I walked in, there were 3 guys at the front desk conversing about something that was obviously more important than greeting me and acknowledging the fact that I was standing there, waiting for assistance.



They made me feel as if I was interrupting them. I just stood there and waited.



One of them finally tore himself away from the conversation and asked if he could help me.



Annoyed but trying hard not to show it, I asked him if I could have some air put in my tires. He seemingly tried to make me feel stupid by saying, "You need the pressure checked?"



I simply said, "Yes." He then said, "Pull up to one of the ports/stations and I'll have a technician come out." I said, "Thank you."



As I pulled my vehicle up, there HE steps out of the little side door, ready to put air in my tires.



As he was supposedly servicing my tires, I noticed he wasn't taking any extra time to make sure all 4 tires were properly inflated.



It was almost like he was pretending to check them, when in actuality, he wasn't.



He gave me a thumbs up to let me know he was done. As I drove away, I didn't notice any change in the way my vehicle felt or drove, like I usually do after my tire pressure has been checked.



When I arrived at my destination, I got out and checked my tires, noticing they looked exactly the same as they did before they were so-called, "Serviced."



I ended up taking my vehicle to a more professional shop. Not another Goodyear location. The technician took extra time with each tire and my vehicle rides alot smoother than before.



I should have known that Goodyear on Kennedy Blvd. has not changed since the last time I dealt with them back in 2009. They always wanted my MONEY, but always found a way to screw me over with repairs that never fixed the actual problem.



Once, I drove away after one of their, "Repairs" and my car broke down in front of Westshore Mall! In heavy traffic! I had my vehicle towed right back to them, and they showed no remorse. They didn't even offer me a refund. Instead, they wanted to overcharge me for something else they said was wrong.



That's when I found a better mechanic and decided Goodyear at any location, was definitely not worthy of my business!



They never treated me with the respect and decency that they treated other paying customers. That being said, I shouldn't have expected them to do so when I wasn't paying.



I notice this particular location has great ratings overall. They obviously do not treat everyone this way. My guess is, they pick and choose whom they will and will not show respect to.



My being a young, African American female must really pale in comparison to a young, blond or brunette caucasian female or male.



Not that they care, but they have lost my business forever!!!!!!!

I had a few problems elsewhere and these guys proceeded to go above and beyond to ensure I was ok! The whole experience is exactly what I look for when using a business. I am pleased.

Great service - the only place I will take my car. Family run, and it shows - honest reliable and friendly.
