Barks By the Bay was recommended to me not by one but two friends.

I am an attorney and my husband a retired deputy so we are not homeless.

However, I was not wearing my tiara as we had been doing some yard work.



We arrived with our two 10 year old Yorkies and were asked where we previously groomed them. We were informed that this groomer has 1930 prices. I felt as though the groomer was afraid we would not be able to pay the bill. At 2PM we were informed that appointments are 4 hour per dog and that she was running behind.



Dogs were cut nicely when my husband picked them up and brought them home. Cost was not unreasonable.



I noticed one of my dogs squinting and barely able to open her eyes. Green started oozing and I flushed with saline applied warm compress and waited for morning visit to vet. She suffered corneal burns to both eyes (vet said likely due to dip used by groomer).



I felt that this groomer had a snob attitude often found south of Kennedy and the vet bill speaks to the carelessness in handling my pet.



I will never use this groomer again.
