I came to american freight after 4 1/2 years later after i originally purchase furniture from them in the past to get a whole house full of furniture. When i first walked in i realized the people that was there when i brought my furniture last time were not the same people, yet i still proceeded to try to buy furniture due to having to throw away the last set i had because of rain and mold in my apartment. when i started shopping the gentlemen that was helping me at first told me off the bat i wouldnt be able to customize my package how i wanted. i knew he was wrong about that because i have done it before. i asked to speak to their manager and right then i was introduced and explained what i wanted. he gave me a notepad to write what i wanted and he would give me a package deal. i told him i already had my bed i would just need the rails and living room, dinning room and partial of the bedroom. i asked twice for everything i purchase if all three rooms were included plus the accessories i was adivsed yes. i pursued to put down $575 dollars when all i needed to put down was 10% . i told them i would come back in two weeks to get it off layaway and take it home. i spent almost two hours making sure i wouldnt be a dissatisfying customer. when i went back to pick up my furniture i was told my bed set was not included. i was pissed. i asked to speak with the manager i talked to the last time they advised he left to lunch when i spoke to him on the phone and told him i was coming as soon as i got off work. I ended up asking for my refund back, and went to another furniture store and got better customer service for all of the rooms i wanted in my house. i was so mad and told myself i would never shop at american freight because of being mislead.

I had the most excellent service at this store location. The Tampa Dale Mabry location has extremely polite and professional. Duan, Christian and Johnathan are the very best. You must see one of them when you come. Their superb service was by far the best I've ever experienced. I will definitely come back whenever I have furniture needs!

Great service! Found what we were looking for at a great price!

Me and my 2 roommates were looking for an inexpensive nice couch that will last. Upon entering the store we were very generously greeted by a sales associate Tim Jordan. This man knew the store in side and out and wasn't trying to force us into buying anything we didn't want to. He simply made us feel comfortable shopping allowed us to make our own decisions and did what a salesmen is suppose to do by guiding you in the right direction to what you are looking for. We made the decision to get the microfiber shiitake colored section for $798. This piece of furniture was exactly what we were looking for and cheaper in American Fraight then most places. We are extremely satisfied with this company and know exactly where we are shopping for furniture again in the future
