Head Start is a federally funded pre-school program for children ages 3-5. At Head Start we provide services that go well beyond the classroom. Head Start is a comprehensive program, with something for everyone in your family. Southern Seven Head Start offers center based care for infants and toddlers ages 6 weeks to three years. The new Early Head Start Program will be offered at our Cairo Center and in Pulaski County and is operated throughout the full calendar year. Center based care will be available on a full day/full week or half day/partial week basis. Our services include: *Education *Health *Nutrition *Special Needs *Family Partnerships *Home-Based *Full Day/Full Year Head Start *Transportation *Eligibility *Enrollment Each Head Start Center is supervised by a Site Coordinator who is based at the center and each center has a Family Liaison who spends 2-5 days per week at the center.
