Lauer Real Estate Group is who we rent our home through. My family was displaced from our home due to a tree coming into our home on Thursday during Hurricane Hermine. Our story has been covered in several papers. I called Lauer's emergency number twice on Friday to find out it's actually just an answering service in another city that takes voice mail and has no way of reaching Lauer. I emailed the leasing company at 9:30 a.m. and at 2:00 p.m. I got a curt email from Casey Lauer saying he'd get a vendor out when he could. I sent back pics of the damage. On Sunday, we moved what wasn't damaged. It smelled rotten and moldy. It began pouring flooding the home again. It's now Monday. Still no phone call. I call them today to have a woman say they will not be reimbursing my rent for Sept or deposit and that Casey Lauer refuses to speak to me. They say repairs will take a week. It will take a week just to dry the floors.

I had a horrible experience with the owner of this company. Renters beware. Inflexible, dishonest and very ill tempered. The people who work in the office are quite efficient and sub-contractors do an effective job when properly directed. Unfortunately, owner of company, chooses to cost cut at expense of tenant and safety can become an issue. I had multiple issues over a 9 month period of time that went unattended included a buckled floor that was never repaired. Eventually an accident occurred due to shoddy repair work. I would never rent from this company again.

LREG manages several properties for me and I have been very happy with their service so far. The staff is great. No complaints!

The management/ staff are so disorganized. Forget about asking any questions; they have a 2 day turnaround before you usually get an answer. The properties are not well managed at all. When I moved in the sink was leaking, refrigerator held in place by a block of wood, washer full of standing water (didn't work), ceiling fans as loose as can be, dishwasher had food particles in it, yard not even mowed before your moved in, w/ tree huge branches laying in the front yard. Casey Lauer get it together!!!

We are completely in heaven with our home. The park is right there our kids can play on the playgroud. Great home!

THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME I RENTED FROM LAUER REAL ESTATE. THEY REALLY SEEM TO HAVE A WIDE SELECTION OF HOMES AND THEY FIX THINGS AS QUICKLY AS THEY CAN. SOMETIMES THEY HAD TO GET APPROVAL FROM THE OWNER IN MY LAST PLACE AND THAT TOOK 2 DAYS FOR A WORK ORDER TO BE COMPLETED BUT IT WAS OK I GUESS NO BIG DEAL. AND PAYING MY RENT ONLINE NOW IS GREAT THEY DIDNT HAVE THAT OPTION WHEN I FIRST RENTED WITH THEM.

There was a misunderstanding in the pricing of the appliance, they were not actually charging $600 for just a washer it was a quote for a washer and it also included other services and a dryer as well. The review was writen in a moments frustration. Please disregard it as it was just a misunderstanding.

They will take your money and they will not do a thing. They get off on pitting homeowners and tenants against each other. When tenants report problems they do not fix it for WEEKS, SOMETIMES MONTHS and when they do they take advantage of the homeowners by finding the MOST EXPENSIVE service or repair option possible, $600 FOR A USED WASHER!! NOT TO MENTION THAT THE LEASE AGREEMENTS THAT THEY HAVE THE TENANTS SIGN WILL NOT MENTION THE HOME OWNERS AT ALL. They are written up as if Lauer owns the property.YOU ARE FAR BETTER OFF MANAGING YOUR OWN PROPERTY FROM THE START!!!! DON'T FALL VICTIM TO THESE LYING, CHEATING, SCUMBAGS!

Rude, unorganized and completely unprofessional. They walk around the office in sweat pants and don't fix things in their properties that they deem "cosmetic", such as a poorly installed ceiling fan, screens on windows, etc. Always rude, they seem to not understand that tenants are paying them when they pay rent on time every month and should be treated as such. Don't bother with them.
