It doesn't mean you'll get in exactly at your chosen time, but it really helps. I made my appointment for 11:45, and was called in by 12:00, not bad considering the waiting room was PACKED with people.
The woman helping me was surprisingly nice. She sat me down, asked which arm I preferred, and drew the blood. I was in and out in two minutes!
It was only my second experience having blood drawn, so I was scared, but it wasn't so bad after all :)
