We bid the job using several contractors and Scott won the bidding process because he offered the most information and responded quickly to our requests. From that very start, Scott was on top of all the construction necessities. His communication was excellent and his sub-contractors were excellent. We took down a wall to create an open concept, moved the refrigerator to the previous location of the AC, increased the size of the kitchen window and added new brick work outside the window, added all new kitchen cabinets, rewired the entire kitchen, created built-in pantry, tiled the entire downstairs, sealed a doorway, and re-textured walls in the kitchen and dining room plus the doorway. You'd never know that the house was not arranged in this manner. It is gorgeous.

There was wood rot all around the exterior of my house as there were original planks of LP siding deteriorating. I called Bentz Remodeling. Their quote was reasonable. After demolition they discovered more extensive damage to studs. To save me money they suggested that they add sister framing so that my dri-wall on the inside wouldn't be damaged. The crew was professional and courteous. When the project was done, they cleaned up, and it was as if they were never there (except for a patched up house). Scott then sent me quotes for a paint job and also gutters. All-in-all, these guys do good quality work.

From our first meeting with Scott Bentz we felt that he was the right contractor for our needs. He listened to what we wanted in a new bath and what we did not like about our old bath. He quickly put together a team to achieve our goals. Within days we had drawings, prices and were moving forward. When unexpected issues came up during the process Scott knew just who to call and it was quickly resolved. The process of remodeling is never easy but Scott and his team did a fabulous job. Each day the work area was left clean and ready for the next step. They were all very pleasant to have in our home. We have a BEAUTIFUL new bath that is exactly what we wanted. I contracted with Scott for a screen porch and deck in May of 2011, and because of lots of frustrating environmental delays and necessary design changes, the work was just finished at the end of October. It was well worth waiting for. Scott and Tom were fantastic to work with, patient with all of the delays, and patient with me. He even had some expert nurserymen come in and move two 15-year-old prize camellia bushes that I did not want to lose. They are doing fine. I won't hesitate to use Scott for anything in the future.

What a Truely Exciting Experience I had with the owner of Bentz Construction, Scott Bentz. I called after hours (7:30 pm) and explained my hot water tank was not producing any hot water for the last 2 days, could he help. He proceeded to ask me some additional questions and solved my problem over the phone. When it worked, I let out the biggest scream. What a true gentlemen and asked how much did I owe, and he said not a dime. Truely how often A Blessing Like This Occur in todays' market, needless to say, I will highly recommend him to others and everyone I know. Outstanding Service and Yea ... It was so good to be introduced to Tom Udell, project manager for Bentz Construction. He respected my budget , completed tasks on time and with no mess for me to tend to. I got well more than I expected. Tom we think your the greatest - I wish we would have called your company sooner!

I have worked with several contractors in the past few years between work and home. I can honestly say that Scott Bentz has undoubtedly had the best follow-up skills I have seen in any contractor. One of the most frustrating things about construction for me is the question of where to start when so much needs to be done. Scott was able to put my mind to ease about what should be done first, and in stages, so my project did not have to be cost-prohibitive. Along with him being extremely professional and straight to the point, his sub-contractors also worked with the same integrity as he did. They all took pride in their work and honesty did their best job possible. I had my brick staircase rebuilt, a sidewalk repaved, gutters replaced, and a drainage system dug into my yard. Even after I found a boo-boo after paying, Scott still made sure to come back out, along with his contractor to make it right. How many contractors care enough to do that?

Scott and his team of sub-contractors did an excellent job on re-modeling my home. They were very professional and very detail oriented. I would highly recommend Scott and his team.

Bentz construction did an outstanding job, and I highly recommend them. Their attitude was we want you to be happy with your remodel and we'll make sure you are. Scott was always calm, collected and a gentleman despite my many change orders and the problems encountered in renovating an old house. His subcontractors were also excellent.
