Truckee River Taxi started offering service in early 2011 as the only company in N Lake Tahoe dedicated to shuttling public rafters who float the Truckee River.  People loved the service and the company, so we expanded to offer "regular" taxi service and airport transfers to RNO and Truckee airports.  

The difference between us and other taxis in the area: we charge flat rates based on mileage and the number of people in the cab - no hidden charges, no meters and no paying for time in traffic.

I love this company! Fast, reliable and least expensive taxi company in town! I won't use anyone else to get around town or to the Reno airport. And in the summers they do shuttles for public rafters for $5 a person...fabulous!
