for all the money I paid for my two Yorkie poos I can't believe they didn't put bows in either of the girl's hair, at least I thought they were included. when I asked about them she looked at me and laugh as if I was making some kind of a joke. was very unsatisfied because now their hair is to short for bows

We just picked up our two teacup Yorkie Terriers and absolutely will NOT be returning to this groomer. This was our third "try" with this location. Two previous visits, even with extensive explanations, resulted in chopped scissor chunks out of their coats, feet not trimmed, ears not done properly, long stray, wispy hairs protruding everywhere and terribly uneven lines. This third and certainly FINAL try, was worse. One of the employees was extremely rude both when we dropped the dogs off and certainly when we picked them up. We were "greeted" with, "that will be $88.00"...no hello, no smile. She then proceeded to tell us how "horrible" our dogs are and impossible to groom. I find that very hard to believe. Our dogs had been with the same excellent groomer for 7 years, at a different facility, until she retired, and we never, ever had a poor experience or any difficulties. Both of these very over-priced hair cuts are very sloppy and uneven. It was made very obvious that not only did this person not like her job, she didn't like our dogs, us, or our business. She was rude beyond belief and her work, shoddy and totally unprofessional. I would never trust this person with my dogs. She very obviously isn't concerned with the comfort of her four-legged clients, nor is she interested in maintaining customer satisfaction

Tacoma's Best is OPEN SUNDAYS. Always have been. Call for an appointment. We worship on Sundays so we bring our Springer Spaniel, Monty, on Mondays for exactly the grooming we want. Thanks for a job well done!

Not going to take my golden doodle back. I called and asked how much an evening out of his cut would be and gave his weight, was told could be between $50 to $70. Dropped him off and said just an evening out of his hair, I like it longer. My husband picked him up, hair was so short everywhere and not even. They charged $100. Not EVER going back! And they were condescending!

Took my long haired cat to Best Pet Grooming and was amazed at the friendly people, the awesome advice I was given while they pampered my cat and how happy looking and cheerful all the cats and gods were while I was there. Best place ever to take your pets for grooming! Prices were fair and they even worked me into their schedule when I was tight on time. 100% awesome!!!!!

I was able to shave most of my cat’s fur off, but he decided he didn’t want to play anymore. So I took him in to Tacoma’s Best Pet Grooming and she was able to trim down the rest of his fur and now he’s looks decent. (Before, he was a little spotty!) Staff is very friendly also :) Thank you very much :) I appreciate it, and as much as I know the cat can care less, he says thanks too!

Dear "Claudia", you are not a customer of our salon and we have never groomed your yorkie. I appreciate your lame attempt at character assault, but it wont work. Our environment is open to all who enter, pass or dine next door. To believe that someone screamed at the top of their lungs at a four pound dog while hitting it with a brush is outlandish. Find something better to do with your time.

I have been taking my puppy BobE to get groomed by Tommy at Tacoma's Best Pet Grooming for over 5 years, every month. I have never previously found a groomer who cares for pets as she does. I would give her and Tacomas Best Pet more than five thumbs up if it were possible..

I had been going to Tacoma's Best Groomer for two years. This past weekend I arrived early and sat outside since my dog wasn't done yet. Imagine my horror when I heard the groomer screaming at the top of her lungs at my Yorkie and then whacking her with a brush! I jumped right up from where I was sitting with my heart beating so quickly. My family has never hit our children OR our dog before.It now makes me wonder what else could have been going on when I wasn't around. I will definitely NOT be going back there.

I took my dear dog to get groomed on 31 Dec and she was handled with the best care. I've been looking for a new groomer on the north end and I've found it!

They took my 3 dogs with little notice. My dogs came back with the best grooming they have ever had they were calm clean and cut perfectly. They were there only 3 hours which was quick and very cost effective the least amount I have ever paid to have them groomed we came from seattle and are now Tacoma residents they are the BEST GROOMERS IN THE WORLD TAKE YOUR PETS THERE FOR PAMPERED POOCH CARE

I have been taking dogs to the wonderful folks at TBPG for years. When I moved from Tacoma to Kent, I continued to drive back to take my dogs to them.
