A quite unusual nursery as it really looks more like a large well kept garden. Chris, the owner is very knowledgeable about the nursery stock he carries. They tend to specialize in hardy clumping bamboos that need no barrier, plus a variety of spreading bamboos to cover larger areas. They do sell a 40 mill, two feet high density plastic barrier in rolls or cut to the length one needs to prevent bamboo from infringing into adjoining areas. Cured bamboo poles from China in various lengths and width are offered. They carry a large variety of Japanese maples from small to quite large & and variety of other plants and trees. And if one needs any stoneware, this is the place to shop and buy. They have both hand carved stoneware and 'cast stoneware' to choose from....and can special order almost any style, size, height, color tint, etc one would want. And don't miss their handcrafted Asian Garden Bells in different colors and symbols....these are quite heavy, 30 - 40 pounds, made and cut from former large stainless steel welding tanks. They are open Tuesday - Sunday, 10 - 5, closed on Mondays, but can be available if called ahead. 253.5481129.
