It was about 520pm on a Wednesday, I pulled up to the ATM to withdraw some money. I have used the ATM numerous times in the past. I put my card into the machine and it at it. It didn’t even ask for my pin number….the main office was closed but the drive thru was open. Told the teller what the issue was and was told that it was not their ATM and they couldn’t do anything about it. The soonest they could do anything was next week and that I was S.O.L.. What I couldn’t figure out was, Heritage Banks logo was all over the ATM but was continually told that it did not belong to the bank and couldn’t do anything about it. I was also told that this was a continuous problem with this particular ATM. So I left to go to my bank, which I should have done in the first place and drove back by Heritage Bank, there was no OUT OF ORDER sign on the ATM, I also drove by the next day in the morning and the same thing. The bank knows that the ATM eats and destroys peoples ATM cards but continuously lets people attempt to use the ATM. If there is no concern with their ATM card eating machine…how are they handling your money if you have an account with Heritage Bank? POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
