Told me over the phone that they accepted my insurance. Day of my appointment, they tell me they don't accept it. Rude customer service. Wouldn't recommend.

went in at Tacoma store and was helped by Jennifer, she was sharp, helpful and very professional, did not push anything and helped me decide what would work best for me, i just took my mother Friday and she said the eye exam was the best she has ever had and she is 82!

This place is the worst have an eye emergency call them up to get in they tell me 3 hours from the time I'm calling cuz the dr. Has 2 appts and lunch. ARE YOU KIDDING ME I MIGHT LOSE MY EYE BECAUSE OF THE UNCARING OF THIS PLACE! MY HUSBAND IS MILITARY getting off work to come and take me to get this taken care of and I just wanted to basically call before going up there. But then to be told that. Then to say to well how would you feel if someone came in after you and basically took ur spot excuse me! This is a eye emergency!!!! You should always have basically a bump method to get that patient in there quick. She said hmm well you can always go to an emergency room.

Makes no sense how slow they are i have sat there for two hours without them calling my name or acknowledging me ill never go there again !!!

I went in to America's Best under the impression that I would be receiving the two pairs of glasses for $69.95 including the free eye exam. I got my eye exam & after it was over I went to the optician & brought the two pairs of frames I selected for my glasses. I was told at the desk that I would be charged $210 for my glasses because my prescription wouldn't work for the frames I selected. I was told I had to get "special" lenses AND that I would have to pay for my eye exam because I did not qualify for the special. My husband had to ask to speak to the manager & when we did, we discovered that I actually could get the glasses for $69.95. The optician did not tell us the truth and was trying to upsell us because I did not want to purchase the scotchguarded lenses he was trying to sell me. Not to mention the optician was rude & unprofessional. I would never go back to America's Best to get anything, nor would I ever recommend them because I'm not the only one they've done this to.

I think that this is a great place to go if you do not have eyecare covered by your insurance because it is affordable. The treatment of the customer is not satisfactory, but if you need an updated prescription for your contact lenses and you don't have insurance this is your best bet.
