Dex CityCentral brings you local information about your chosen city. Not only can iPad users get local business listings, maps, and driving directions for specific cities, they can also access local Events, Movies, and Attractions; get information about their favorite Sports Team; make OpenTable reservations at nearby restaurants; find the deal of the day with Groupon or read about what’s going on in the city from local bloggers through the Voice component.

Search results for businesses include enhanced content such as contact and location information, business description, reviews, coupons (if available), and website and map links. Make reservations through OpenTable. Purchase movie tickets through Fandango. Customize the application by creating favorite lists of businesses and locations. CityCentral also provides unique local content, like local articles and blogs, and local professional and college Sports teams.
Q: Does Dex CityCentral auto-locate my position? A: CityCentral will try to auto-locate the user and if the user is within 45 miles of one of the covered cities, it will locate you in the closest city. If the user is not within the 45 mile radius, the user will be prompted to select a city.
Q: What does it cost to get and run Dex CityCentral? A: Dex CityCentral is free, but standard carrier and/or other charges may apply based on your iPad data plan.
Q: Can the Dex CityCentral application run on my iPhone? A: CityCentral cannot run on the iPhone.
Q: Will Dex CityCentral be available for other tablet devices or only iPad? A: Currently CityCentral is only available for the iPad.

Q: What do I do if Dex CityCentral will not install on my iPad? A: iPad users can turn the iPad off and then back on. This usually resolves a lot of installation issues. If the problem is still there, users can try updating their iPad if they are not already running the latest version of iPad software. This is not necessary as CityCentral is compatible with 4.0+ versions of iPad, but by updating the iPad a lot of installation issues might be resolved.
Q: Why am I prompted to "allow network access"? A: The "allow network access" prompt appears each time an application attempts to connect to the network. To avoid this message in the future, your iPad may have "application access" options for you to adjust.
Q: Why do I get an error message when I use Dex CityCentral? A: The most common error messages are related to poor data connectivity. Even if the users are connected via WiFi it is possible that they have poor data connectivity. Other common reasons for getting error messages are that not all required fields have been submitted during certain actions. All error messages should be very informative so the users are aware of what caused the issue.
Q: How do I remove Dex CityCentral from my iPad? A: To remove CityCentral from your iPad, simply delete it from the "Applications" area on your iPad.
