I called for a second opinion about a carbon monoxide leak and a burning smell when the furnace stops working, the second opinion was needed by HEAP. Snow Belt showed up first thing in the morning.(thats a plus) BUT the guy only brought a flashlight with him (and a piece of jerky for my dog (another plus)). NO TOOLS, NO CARBON MONOXIDE TESTER. He used my store bought carbon monoxide detector as his only tool. The furnace guy, getting paid by the way, asked me,the customer, what type of nozzle is suppose to be on the furnace. I replied that I don't know I'm not a furnace specialist, because not. I asked him what was he going to submit to HEAP, he said that with his limited equipment he found nothing wrong. LIMITED EQUIPMENT!! How about no equipment just a flashlight. I am having a very hard time trying t ok figure out why he took this job if he had no equipment. He knew before walking in my house what he was going to tell HEAP, the reason I say KNEW is because I called about a carbon monoxide leak and he had nothing to test the air with. He spent all of literally 5 minutes here, he left before my furnace even shut off. I am having a VERY hard time trying to figure out why he took the job, I mean I know why, easy money. But in case anyone didn't know carbon monoxide is a very dangerous gas that can be deadly, not something to be taken lightly. I WOULD NOT, I REPEAT NOT, RECOMMEND SNOW BEKT HEATING TO ANYONE.
