I had sent a request for pricing to upgrade my office computer systems including our file server. I had received several bids and interviewed the various companies. Of all the companies that I interviewed Mr John Rice from Jori Technology Solutions had the most comprehensive upgrade plan of the group. The information they provided was technical but Mr Rice during his presentation explained all the details in an easy to understand manner. His pricing was competitive and was able to schedule the on premises portion of work when I wanted it done.



They started after close of business at 5pm on Friday and were completed by 1pm the next day. They installed a new file server plus another email server, 15 desktop computers, upgraded 5 other desktop computers, a network switch, and voip phone system.



Great company to do business with, and refreshing to have a partner that is as dedicated to our success as we are.

I was victim of tech support scam and laptop was locked with password. The Indian "microsoft" rep demanding $200 to unlock it. I hung up and called local company rescuecom. Their tech was an hour late arriving and didn't even offer an apology. He turns my laptop on and sees the screen and excuses himself to make a phone call. After about 15 mins he comes back tapped some keys and said that I was "SOL", that there was no way to unlock it without paying the scammer. He then had the balls to demand $125 for the service call. I said he didn't do or fix anything. He said he showed up. He called his office and put me on the phone with David. Without allowing me to speak he proceeded to yell at me, saying I agreed to pay for a 1 hr guarantee and that was $125. I said I agreed but not to that insane amount and said I'd pay $50. David then asked where I come off trying to dictate to him, etc. I ended up hanging up on him and kicking the guy out. At this point I was mad enough to scream. I called my sister in hopes my nephew was home and could maybe do something. He said he couldn't that he had no idea what to do. At this point my sister suggested John Rice her computer guy. Said he was fair, fast, and was amazing with a computer.



Gave John the owner of JoRi Technology Solutions a call. I explained the situation and how frustrated I was, and can't lose my pictures because I'd never get them back. John was real patient and understanding to his credit considering I think I was interrupting his dinner based on noise I heard. He was sympathetic and understabding. We made plans for him to come by at 8am the next morning. He explained that usually there was a minimum trip fee of $25 if not fixable but he'd waive it because he could see my frustration. He powered it up, saw the lock box and knew immediately what it was. I was expecting the bad news again but John said that he could definitely get past the password prompt. He just wasn't sure how long but said he would charge me only for one hour no matter the actual time. 45 mins later John calls me into the room and at first he looked sad and said Kathy and paused and broke into this beautiful smile and said Kathy you are all set. I was amazed and had to check my laptop just to make sure. I paid the $75 hour charge and tried to give him a $20 tip but he refused and said my satisfaction was tip enough.



I can't say enough good things about John Rice and his company JoRi Tech. John is one of those rare computer geeks being that he's not a geek at all. Knows his stuff with computers inside and out, is really outgoing with a nice sense of humor that helped to put me at ease and didn't confuse me with tech gobbelygook words. Have used since, and recommended to my employer. John and his crew are now our IT department and things have never run better.
