Mr. Fix began accounting after graduating from Birmingham Southern in 1957 and went in to serve in the accounting field in the Army. Upon returning he immediately went to work under accounting firms in Birmingham, AL. In 1976,he joined the firm of Goolsby, Walkley and Fix, C. P. A. After the death of Mr. Walkley the business became Goolsby & Fix PC.
