I had an emergency situation in my house at 7 am I had to call the fire department as I woke up to a strong propane smell in my house. This is the Valentine's Day storm 2014 we received 19.5 inches of snow in Highland Lakes. I called 7 different plumbers and no one answered or called me back. B&C answered right away. The fire department shut off my furnace so needless to say it was freezing in my house. Mike from B&C came out to my house and went so above and beyond and tredged through almost 3 feet of snow all around my house to the propane tank and also got a ladder out of my garage to take a look on the roof. He could have charged me 300-400 dollars to replace a regulator but instead he thought it was an issue with the snow blocking the out take pipe on the roof of my house because of the heavy snow. He told me to take care of that first and then call him if it doesn't resolve the problem. Well it was exactly like he said and that was the problem. Being a single woman owning a home it was refreshing to finally find someone who was not trying to rip me off. He was very nice and definately made me feel so much more secure about the situation when he left. I would recommend him to anyone. Great job Mike!! I will always be calling B&C in the future.

Called B&C in the nic of time. Another outfit was trying to soak us for $181.00 on a part that a) only cost $4.00, and b) we didn't need! B&C is honest, knowledgeable and reliable. You won't be disappointed. We will never call anyone else for our heating and cooling needs. Thank you Mike. You rock!

Our heater stopped working in the middle of the night, during a big snow storm. When we discovered it the next morning we called B&C, and even with the 10 inches of snow on the ground, a technician arrived within an hour and got us up and running (and warm!) again. With a two-year-old in the house, we were very worried. B&C was a life-saver!! We will definitely call B&C Heating & Cooling for any service or repairs going forward.

quick and reasonable

Live in Denville, NJ - Air conditioning system failed on Saturday evening. I called B & C on a Sunday morning and B & C had a repair person on site within 2 hours! Ran a complete diagnostic on the system and made every attempt to restart the compressor without success. They were able to locate, install, and test a replacement unit within 24 hours. Very courteous service at a reasonable price. Will definitely use this company again if necessary.
