In Nov 2011 I purchased a NEW Silverado from Sands. It had 500+ Miles on it. I questioned this and was told that the Boss had taken it for a trip. 1 week later when I open the glove box the sales information and title fell out from someone who had purchased the car and returned it. I was finally given a $300.00 check (TO SHUT ME UP). In 2016 my granddaughter found a NEW 2016 Suburban that had everything on it she had wanted. BUT, it was dirty and had over 1000 miles, salesman said Boss took to Calif and just got back. She bought the car. A day later I looked it up on CARFAX and it had been sold before. Sands claim Carfax is in error. They have now lost all my Business.

Communication in service department is the worst, they promise and never meet deadline.

Ended up purchasing a new vehicle. Sales poor communication as well. Typical sales department. Started on Internet, they get you in but then BEWARE...

Not sure that we will continue to have our new vehicle serviced there.

*********************BUYER BEWARE DISHONEST ALERT************************** My son purchased a car from Sands Chevrolet Surprise he is a first time car buyer was taken advantage of (he has some disabilities doesn't understand financial) He knew the salesman and the salesman knew about his problems. Anyway he bought the car and was excited about it so I didn't fight the contract 2 weeks later he took a friends there to get a car unknown to me. He was told if he referred anyone he'd get a referral fee but when he called about it the sales manager said oh we took that off your down payment. How can you take it off a completed contract? His car was purchase 2 weeks before then. I referred a a friend to Camelback Ford and didn't even purchase a car there just knew someone I didn't know about a referral and got a check in the mail for 250.00 . After I got that check I decided to call the manager at Sands, when I called I was told it was up to the salesmen to handle that. So to say the least he was taken advantage of twice!!! Dirty dealership

We are 'Snowbirds' from Canada and after we make our 1550+ miles winter trek down to Surprise, AZ our Traverse vehicle is ready for an oil change, tire rotation and inside outside car wash. We've been making our service appointment at Sands Chev in Surprise for the last few years and the servicing has been excellent. Matt, our service rep looks after everything. Their customer service van drops us off and picks us up from the local shopping centre when our vehicle is ready. Great service!

Bad Experience With Detail Service - Oscar

Went to pick up my already clean truck from DETAIL and found the truck in worse shape than when I dropped it off!!! Film on all windows, fingerprints all over, grill and bumpers had streak marks where water had dried. Ended up leaving it for another day to fix it. Very disappointed! Stay tuned to see how it looks tomorrow when I return to pick it up!

I went to Sands KIA, which is ...

I went to Sands KIA, which is attached to, and under the same management as Sands Chevrolet.

Before I even got out of my car at Sands KIA, I was already being approached by a dealer. I agreed to sit down and go over my criteria of the only cars I would be interested in. I wanted a small car with great gas mileage comparable to the Kia Soul (Which, I made known was available to me in my budget, for sale by a private owner), and low miles on the car (around 50,000 miles). They were simple, but rare to find in a car with a budget of $10,000 - but that was ok, I did not need to buy a car that day. All of this was made very, very clear to the saleswoman. She was charismatic enough and I did trust her to show me only the cars that met these criteria, like she said she was going to. I didn't realize until now, when I am stuck with the car, that the only number that really mattered to the dealership was how much of the $10,000 they could get. Advice: never let a salesman from Sands Kia know how much you have in your wallet if you don't want that to be all they go on.

I really did believe I was getting a good deal when I signed the papers that day. I left the dealership in a 1997 Mercury Cougar XR7 completely confident with my purchase and happy with the customer service I had received. It was an older car, but had very low mileage (~56,000, and a clean record. I knew it wasn't the same mpg I would have gotten with the Soul (24/31HWY), but I liked the car enough to buy it when I was explicitly told by the saleswoman that it was the same mpg I was currently getting from my Buick Century(18/26HWY). My thoughts were that at least I would't be downgrading.

After the purchase, I realized I was sold a heavy tank of a car with a v8 engine (double that of anything I wanted, double the Soul or of any modern sedan). I found out that the numbers I was given during the sale were actually for a 1991 Cougar with a v6 engine. Quite a difference in years and cylinders to be lied about. The car I was sold gets 15city/23 HWY on a good day, and Sands pretends to care less and less each day I talk to them.

The dealership refuses to work with me, saying the car is all mine now and I'm under contract. Of course they don't want a car with a v8 engine. They were looking for the first young adult to come onto their lot that would fall for their sales approaches. They are only willing to let me trade in the vehicle for much less value than what I payed, or sell the car back to them for barely anything, even though it has hardly been used.
