Called and asked to see if they could diagnose a high idle problem and single knock in my engine. They said no appointment was needed, to just stop by quick. I did, they looked at it and listened to the knock. Within 10 minutes diagnosed that and the high idle. Didn't charge me a thing. Excellent customer service, I would and will recommend Mags to anybody looking for Auto repair. Just good, honest mechanics that do good business.

My son is currently a college student in Duluth. Had a transmission go out in his vehicle, and we were not familiar with any of the local business establishments. I contacted his college and asked the staff were they service their vehicles (When in Rome, do as the Romans do…)

We were referred to MAGS Auto Service in Superior WI. The owner happens to be an instructor at a local technical school. Through him, we were given the name of a Triple AAA Towing company, Dave’s Towing. The customer service at both places was exceptional; very informative, and very patient with non-residents.

Unfortunately, we DID need a new Transmission, but MAGS quickly found us one with miles on it. It was comparable to the age of our vehicle, and half the price of a rebuilt transmission.

Until my son is done with college, he will continue to use both MAGS Auto Service and Daves Towing for all repairs, and rescues.
