Ann Moody Sill Dance Studio (AMSDS) opened it's original facility in 1971 in the Alief area, where we operated for 31 years.  In 2002, we built a new state-of-the-art facility in Sugar Land where we now operate. Our teachers not only have excellent dance educations and teaching experience, but we continue to learn new material to present to our students. Dance is not only a wonderful art which provides entertainment to the audience, but also, and more importantly for young dancers, dance is a source of self-esteem and confidence, which is so important in a child's development. We provide a family-type', non-competitive atmosphere where parents may view classes at any time and where students enjoy all of what dance has to offer. Therefore, we feel that we offer something unique --- we teach students to "love to dance" as well as the very best in style and technique, whether they are here to pursue a professional career, or merely to gain grace, poise and coordination. We welcome any questions, comments, or suggestions, as we are constantly striving to better serve the community and better educate our dancers. Please feel free to call us any time!

What ever you do do not give them your credit card. They will steal money. Keep your wallet to your self, credit cards leave at home.

We were invited to attend a recent dance exhibition at AMSDS --- what a wonderful time! The kids performed jazz, ballet, tumbling and tap numbers, and did a really great job!



It was nice to meet the staff and see what the studio is all about. Many dance schools are all about competitions, but this place is about kids learning to dance and having a good time. We're definitely looking forward to the studio's shows at the Wortham Theater and will look for their holiday performances around Sugar Land!



If you have kids interested in learning to dance, this looks like a really great place to start!

We have been with AMSDS for several years, and the staff has become like family... Students learn to work together as a team, knowing that sometimes you could be chosen to lead but not always. The recitals and holiday performances are wonderful... it really says something about a studio that entertains senior citizens at the holidays. Highly recommended for kids who are learning to love dance, and learning to work with others.

My daughters have danced at AMSDS for 5 and 6 years, which has strengthened them in many ways: they are more confident, talented and poised. The recitals are an experience for the whole family. We really enjoy our time spent at the studio.
