Very good Sunday brunch with family. Very friendly, great music,great waitress, price ok

The food is plentiful and very authentic. Absolutely love Oktoberfest, it is so much fun! Friendly and attentive wait staff, definately recommend!

I went last year and had such a good time in spite of the ridiculous prices, I decided to attend again this year. It was as expected...fun...until 5 morons lit up cigars right in the middle of the main tent and proceeded to flaunt their perceived "right" to do so. I'm all for one's right to smoke but I am also all for common courtesy. I'm disappointed that management did not set aside a smoking area.

This is the Best German House in Minnesota!! The employees are so friendly and hard working. They are eager to wait on you and the customers are all so friendly. It's a great hometown feeling!!!! If you like German Beer and German wine and German food it's the perfect place. Summertime music out in the pines is very relaxing. Octoberfest is great fun end of September. And also great for Birtday parties, holidays, even blizzards can be fun. Hope to see you their in 2011!!!! Happy New Year to all the Staff!! Great German food! Each of our four kids loves it. Our favorites are the jagerschnitzel, rahm putin schitzel, smoked pork chops and the pork hock. They serve an authentic Radlermaas (sp?) - beer spiked with fresh lemonade (had one at another German restaurant - it was made with pink lemonade powder! yuck)Appetizers were authentic - the schnitzel sampler was great. Would like more selection of hot appetizers, though. Desserts only OK - looked store bought rather than home-made, which is a turn-off for our family.

Buffet depleted--not refilled 30 minutes before it was to close--sauerkraut, potato dumplings all meat One entree from menu not availableSausage quality and assortment inadequatePotato dumpling ordered separately not like any other German dumpling ever encountered--very soft and bready rather than solid and with a potato flavor.Chicken "fingers" dry, overbreaded, Service required prompting.Will not return--four marginal dinners totaled $90.00 Seemed way out of line for quality.

I am a native German. I have tried all of the German restaurants in the area several times. The Gasthaus is by far the best one. None of the others can compete in terms of authenticity with their food.

Like the atmoshphere. Food is very good. Like the beer selections too. good service. A little out of the way but worth the drive
