I was noticing a smell from our fireplace and had heard some raindrops inside the flu a few months back. Called SNG and Gary called me back right away. He setup to do an inspection 2 days later (other local companies were a much longer wait). Gary came out promptly at the agreed upon time and did an inspection with pictures showing me the fireplace flu and the chimney cap from on the roof. We did have some moisture that had probably gotten in through the chimney cap which was showing some wear and needed to be sanded, re-painted and resealed. We also needed a chimney cleaning and our back plate needed replacement as it had some cracks in it after 30 years of use. I was very happy that Gary offered to sand, repaint and reseal the existing chimney cap instead of just trying to sell me a new one which would have been much more expensive. We set up an appointment for 2 days later and Gary again was ontime and did everything he had promised. He had no issues with answering my questions as he seems to really enjoy his work. Gary also told me to call him if I have any issues with the work he completed and he would swing by to take care of it.
I highly recommend SNG Chimney Sweep as I also saw the reviews from the many repeat customers they have had over the years.

SNG are truly nice people. I had a serious problem with some extraneous blockage in my flue, mid way up the chimney. They gave me a fair quote to remove the blockage, but the old chimney would not cooperate. A contractor could have easily added significant charges by showing that the problem was beyond the scope of the original estimate, but SNG simply did not do that.



They truly cared about solving the problem. They finally had to create a professional hole in my chimney and remove the blockage by hand. They completely repaired the bricks after removing the debris and put my chimney back into complete operation in one day.



I strongly recommend SNG for the quality of work they perform and the ethical way they do business. Those qualities are rarely seen in the market place today.

They called me back quickly and put me on their schedule for the following day. Scott was polite and informative, Technician Gary explained the process for cleaning my chimney and detected some cracks in my crown that needed repair. They completed the repair and it cost less than I expected. I was very satisfied with SNG Chimney Sweep and will use them again for any chimney needs.
