Church on Rock

Went to this Church about a week before Easter. I'm seeking a church in the area that is friendly and this one is far from it.

The pastor was kind of a big fellow and talked more about the things that he owns and such rather than talking about scripture.

I met him personally after the service and he seemed really arrogant towards people.

The word that was preached was not a very relevant word and I would never go back.

I was looking for a church home but this is not it.

Oh and the pastor's name BTW is Larry Smoot.



Notes were taken on the Church on the Rock service but it was so unimpactful I would have to go back and read over some of them to jog my memory about any part of the service.

Churches like this should not exist.

What a disgrace to Christianity.

This church meets at Drew Middle School and the environment feels just like that. You are sitting in the middle school auditoriom with about 10 people in the congregation so it feels like nobody is there.

What a DEAD church.

These people twist the Scriptures to their own liking and have demonstrated only one single interest: your money. Come and give abundantly and be pointed out publicly as a "king" in the congregation. Come with a sincere need such as sickness or doubt, and be made to feel a sinner. Stay away and protect your family from Church on the Rock!
